A Challenge to All Americans who still challenge The Presidency of Donald Trump, to set aside their preconceived ideas and prejudices!
I write to you at a time when we all should be celebrating and looking forward to better times. We have just inaugurated a brand new President, for four years, and even though some are unwilling or unable to accept it, the fact he is President remains unchanged.
The Presidential Race was hard and for most of us went on far too long. The Media decided to support Hillary Clinton, even to the extent of lying about Donald Trump. Accusation after accusation, without evidence or base. His every commentary twisted and taken out of context and whilst he was far from perfect, he did not deserve that level of response.
Whilst Hillary was off conspiring with George Soros and accepting donations from any who felt they could gain influence over and above that which she gave whilst in the State office, Mr Trump campaigned tirelessly. All of this was under the eyes of then President Barack Obama who failed to ensure the cleanliness of his staff, even to the point of allowing them to commit treasonous acts.
In the debates Hillary said that anyone unwilling to accept the outcome of the election was a threat to democracy, unless it was her of course. When it was revealed that Mr Trump had won, she beat her staffers & got drunk, again. Her whole strategy was that people wanted more of the same and it became her downfall. America didn't want a white Obama lady in a pantsuit, they wanted change.
After all was said and done Donald trump won the election and chaos for The democrats ensued. Every excuse for him winning was brought to table including the Russians, cheating, global warming, flexible rostering & witchcraft. Even though the Electoral College votes may have sealed the deal, it was an accepted part of the process, until it went badly for Hillary.
Even when Jill Stein from The Green Party raised funds for recounts and didn't spend all of the money on recounts it highlighted more votes for The Donald. It also highlighted more dishonesty from Hillary's team including voter fraud, double voting, dead people voting, illegals voting etc. Still the democrats were unwilling to accept the results.
Broadway then got in on the act (no pun intended) when the cast of Hamilton decided to give unsolicited statements from the stage to Mike Pence and his family when they attended the theater. I was left wondering when people paid to entertain us were given license to share their political theories when we had paid them to well... perform.
Hollywood then stepped in, as if they have some amazing power over us. Strikes were threatened, but were really empty in all honesty. None of the celebs who threatened to leave if Mr Trump won actually did, they just chose to whine about it, to the public's chagrin. Chelsea Handler who had threatened to move to Spain blamed The Kardashian Sister for Mr Trumps meteoric win as the USA was now a Reality Show.
Even Meryl Streep or Meryl Sheep as I call her now decided to use her acceptance speech to trash Mr Trump. Many switched off and whilst some applauded you could see a lot of the audience were uncomfortable. She took the opportunity to talk about Mr Trumps alleged attack on a disabled person, yet failed to mention the disabled person attacked by 5 black youths just days before. Streep throat indeed cough cough!
When President Obama was elected in 2008 I was still a Democrat. I remember the ideology of wanting The President to fail meant that you wanted the USA to fail. I am sitting here wondering what has changed? There was a lot of opposition to Barry & his Bodgers. The world was going to end, we would all be forced to become Muslims, and Republicans would be persecuted. None of it happened apart from the fact that Republicans were persecuted by his admin. Thank you IRS!
Obama in his last days freed drug dealers, thugs & trans traitors just for being trans. He ignored those with legitimate need for sentence commutation, like Kristian Saucier. Kris was jailed for a yr, lost his job, his pension and his family, a wife and a young child were left destitute. He took 6 selfies on a 40 yr old submarine and as Mr Trump said, anyone who wanted pics had them years ago.
Saucier's family lost their life savings paying for his defense in what was clearly a political imprisonment. Hillary walked free and ran for president for doing a thousand times more, but no, not even a pardon for this young man. While he rots in federal prison and his family suffer daily. If this is how we treat Patriots who serve our country I wonder why the hell they bother #FreeKrisSaucier.
I particularly enjoyed President Trumps speech especially the part were he reiterated that his administration was for the people, yet still some of the people object. At a time when America needs to come together united to begin afresh and correct the wrongs of the previous administration, the divide widens further.
My heart is sad that so many women marched against Mr Trump for comments he made in private 11 years ago. How about marching for the women in the Arab world who are stoned and have their clitoris removed or the gays who are thrown of roofs every day. These same people who commit such atrocities funded Hillary and you choose to march against Mr Trump? Wake the hell up America.
This talk of The Resistance movement is indeed futile and farcical. So what you marched, you protested, you tweeted your anger about the lack of free tampons and guess what? Donald Trump is still President and will be for the next four years and possibly eight.
Those who oppose Donald trump as far as I can see have two realistic choices. Suck it up and work together to make America great again and if you are still unhappy in four years, then vote someone else in. You may be very surprised in that President Trump might do such a good job you will want him for another four years.
Your other choice is to opine and complain for four years to anyone who will listen, but as I said this is futile. What change can you effect by working against the new President? He will still be the President after your march, tirade, complaint etc is over.
We need to come together and stop with the negativity as that will only benefit those who's m.o is to divide us further. We need to stop listening to the dishonest media who are paid to increase the divide and provide opinion rather than fact to sell their gutter rags. You are better than to be used as a tool of divide and allowing yourself to be brainwashed further is most concerning.
Whilst I am one of President Trumps fiercest champions I will also be one of his fiercest critics. He has set a challenge for himself and us to make America great again and I for one will be continuing to see he is charged with that task. As a commentator my job is to comment on all aspects of his Presidency, not just the good bits.
It is no secret that I did not like Mr Trump when he first ran for President. I based my perception on his TV persona which was nothing more that a character. Once he won the nomination to be the candidate I decided to put my preconceived ideas aside for the good of my country. I actually grew to like and respect this man once I separated him from his TV persona. I challenge you to do the same.
Love and Peace, Xan
An open letter to Marina Sirtis & all celebrities, minor celebrities & has beens practicing to be a never was that are trash talking Trump!
Dear Marina Sirtis
Firstly, thanks so much for your appearance on Star Trek The Next Generation as Deanna Troi. Your performance was impeccable and the wardrobe department’s bold use of spandex was most definitely a genius step. I would like to add to your list of acting prowess but the only other thing I can think of is your appearance in Stargate SG1, The TV Series. Yes I did check IMDB but as we both know as actors, minor roles are just filler!
Whilst I was a fan and don’t want to be rude to you I am really disappointed at not only your foolishness as an actor, and your lack of Business Acumen, but your attempts to make me look unprofessional for merely disagreeing with you. May I remind you that it was your character that was empathic, not you and although you may think having one starring role qualifies you to be a Political Commentator, I am here to inform you that it doesn't!
Your Timeline on Twitter stinks of Liberal Logic and Anti Trump sentiment and you slanderous accusations would only be tolerated by those with no intellect. Calling Donald Trump a racist in order to further the political aspirations of Hillary Clinton or to boost your own flagging career is suicidal and your fan base dwindles daily.
This is before we even consider how many Casting Agents and TV Show Executives actually know and support Donald Trump and will be aware of your commentary. I for one am no longer a fan and will not support you anymore, but will observe your career suicide from afar. Even hard core fans will not tolerate your lies and misrepresentations of Mr Trump based upon the watered down perceptions you have gleaned from others.
When I called you out for an example regarding your assumptions that Donald Trump is racist, you cited commentary that had been generalised regarding his suggestion some Mexicans in The USA Illegally, had raped and murdered people. His reference was directly relating to those who had and was not a generalization about all Mexicans.
Your choice to misappropriate Mr Trump's commentary is directly and intentionally designed to draw focus from Mrs Clinton's own racism. Her best friend was head of The KKK. Robert Bird, The Grand Dragon of The KKK was the Clinton's best friend. Talk about hypocrisy!
You then had the audacity to criticize me by saying I didn't understand the concept of fact checking. Well my dear Marina, who hasn't had a major role since Star Trek, let me correct you for one moment. I have among other things been a fair and objective journalist for over 20 years. I have hosted, written and produced a Radio Show & a TV Show for four years and have checked my facts meticulously. What gives you the right to question my fact checking? Your guest appearance in Casualty maybe?
It is one thing to disagree but to assert superiority based on the fact that you're a 61 year old British Actress who had one successful role that required cleavage and spandex is preposterous. I would even go so far as to say your knowledge of American Politics is minimal at best and clearly because you voted Labour and loved Tony Blair that makes you a Democrat. As for fact checking, I suggest you check out Hillary's racist commentary, maybe she still want's to refer to Black People as predatory and wants to bring them to heel.
Don't think for one minute that once the election is over fans will forget how you and others have behaved. You are slowly but surely isolating your fan base and encouraging those who could give you work not to do so. Let's face it Marina, your career has been far from successful since Star Trek, can you really afford to isolate fans and potential employers further with your level of dishonest commentary? I think not!
Sirtis is not the only celeb/minor celeb enticed by Clinton's brand of dishonesty, oh no sirree! Both Cher and Barbra Streisand have also been duped. At a recent fundraiser Streisand reworded "Send in the clowns" and was offensive about Trump. It is interesting how these people forget that probably half their fan base if not more could be supporting Trump. Even the gays have support for Trump and more than any other Republican Candidate in history, Donald supports the gays.
Think on celebs/minor celebs and wannabes. The fans you lose during this election cycle are not coming back and I am sure some of you really can't afford to hemorrhage more fans. What of my fan base you say? Well interestingly enough my fan base found me and support me because of my leanings. As a Talk Show Host, Writer & Political Commentator my followers are very specific, but I am wondering, can you say the same Marina, Cher, Babs and others? I think not!
Love & Peace, Xan xo
It’s no secret that I have evolved politically over the last few years, but sadly some have stayed chained in the bondage of Liberalism and the lies attached to it. Whilst I never considered myself a Liberal when I was a Democrat, I was fraught with contradiction and control. I'd frankly had enough of Obama’s failed rhetoric and inability to make any lasting difference.
Changing allegiances will never make you popular or even enable you be trusted easily. Lets face it I was viewed as too liberal to be conservative by my conservative friends and clearly a total conservative by my liberal friends. Whilst I consider myself to be a conservative in all honesty I am still just me trying to make a difference and make America a better place.
I always believed that this would only be achieved by left and right working together and forging a point to grow from based upon the things we do agree on. Division is only achievable by allowing our differences in opinion to tear through any chances of growth and development. I do fundamentally believe some really do want there to be divide and are too unreachable, but most are not.
In the run up to the Presidential elections things became very difficult for me politically once more with the division within The GOP and in the country as a whole. Sadly that grew and the uncertainty that ensued was palpable. Regardless of everything else I do believe that God is in control and even with the fact that humanity is flawed we will get by.
The race ensued and it got down to four, two on each side and in all any honesty I didn’t feel particularly warm and supportive towards any of them. I don’t think I could ever support a Democrat in office again, I mean look at the mess Obama has made of the USA in less than 8 years. His policies were quick fixes and his promises constantly failed and clearly "Teflon Trouser Suit Girl" Hillary would basically grab his policies and eek them out for another four years and then blame the previous incumbent.
When it got down to a two horse race and it was clear that Donald Trump would be the GOP nominee I was forced to make a choice. I could, like so many of my conservative friends chuck a hissy fit because Cruz had not won the nomination and support a 3rd party runner. On reflection that was really never an option because a vote for anybody but Trump was a vote for Hillary, so totally defeated the object.
I also heard some were saying they would vote for Hillary as a protest as Trump wasn’t even a Conservative. I don’t ever recall him professing he was and as for questioning whether he was still a Democrat, he was running on the GOP docket. What more do you need, for him to get a tattoo with GOP on his arm? In a way it made things very simple and I quickly came to a conclusion.
It was clear that it was imperative to love America more than I disliked elements of the candidate. Is Trump perfect? Heck no but neither was any other candidate and let’s face it, Jesus wasn’t running this year. When I looked at Hillary and Donald side by side, based upon track record, Donald did look so bad. There have been many things Trump has said that I have found abhorrent, but in fairness, to quote an 11 yr old “I’d rather deal with a few bad words than get bombed or my head cut off”
Hillary would do or say anything to get elected and she carries a level of culpability regarding Benghazi. Having the blood of my fellow countrymen on your hands is a definite turnoff for me and that’s before we get to the EMail stuff. Then there are four hundred million more reasons not to want Teflon Tessie Clinton as our POTUS. Yes I am referring to the fact that her department arranged for $400 Million taxpayer dollars to be given to our sworn enemies. You know the ones who want to kill us and our allies.
Wake up America, Hillary and Bill have been in bed with terrorists for years and put personal profit above the safety of people like you and me. She has already indicated she wants to change freedom of speech laws and another Clinton in the Whitehouse is one too many for me.
When I started to go public about choosing to support Donald Trump, I was subject to many forms of abuse. Being a Talk Show Host I am thankfully pretty thick skinned. It started slow with people retweeting negative things I had said about Trump from 3 and 4 years ago. Big deal, I chose to comment on what I perceived to be negative comments from Trump.
Then people unfollowed me for my Political Position. People I had known for 30 yrs blocked me for supporting him. I was told I had no self respect if I supported Trump which in all honesty was so far from the truth. I was insulting the LGBT Community by supporting him. Get real! The Gays have far more to worry about with Hillary. She took donations from countries that KILL gays and throw them off roofs for merely being gay. Her support for this community only occurred to get the gay vote.
I had quite a public slanging match with the Editor of The Huffington Post, Noah Michelson who stated he didn’t know of anyone gay supporting Trump. TA DA, and I’m not even a Republican. He went into such a tirade of vitriol criticizing me, my journalism and my right to an opinion. It was like being back in highschool, you know when that one friend says you can’t be friends with someone they dislike. His commentary was so abhorrent even friends of mine from the board of Verizon who own the Liberal Rag where disgusted with him.
When I pointed this out he asked me if that was a threat and quickly backed down. I asked my friends to take no action but they are monitoring the situation. What more can we expect from a professional homosexual who writes such tat as the article below, that encourages gays to stop sleeping with Trump supporters in order to defeat him. Oh yes Noah, that will stop him, keep up that award winning Journalism. Come back Arianna Huffington, all is forgiven
He even went so far as to state that The Huffington Post’s Editorial position was that “Trump is dangerous and must be stopped at all costs” I am sure my friends on The Verizon Board would have concerns with that statement as they are Republicans! Good luck with your little tirade Noah because clearly yours or anyone’s friendship that does not allow for personal perspective, is a friendship not worth having. Bye Felicia!!
In conclusion I want to clarify that point. Anyone who claims to be your friend and does not allow for your own personal political convictions was never your friend in the first place. I am fully ensconced on The Trump Train Thanks so much to my friends for saving me a seat. If my stumping for Trump means you cannot be my friend any longer, adios amigo and good luck helping Teflon Tessie wipe the blood from her hands!
Love and Peace Xan x

In a landmark decision last Friday, SCOTUS (Supreme Court of The United States) voted 5 to 4 in favor of legalizing Same Sex Unions in all 50 states of the United States. A mixed reaction was received from sheer elation to total shock and horror.
Those of you that know me well, will be aware of just how much work I have put into effecting change in the last 25 years for the LGBT Community. For me this ruling should be a landmark in my timeline., as a gay person who believes in equality, however my response was sadly, bitter sweet.
Whilst I am elated that my community will finally have more rights, as a Christian and someone who considers themselves to be so much more than their sexuality, I will not be so easily bought with high priced tokens . It has become clear that not toeing the LGBT line has a price to pay but clearly I lost my fag badge some time ago.
For us to assume that this is a solid victory is nothing short of folly. When the US Government dealt with Civil Partnerships, they could have saved a lot of bad feeling and disharmony by affording exactly the same rights as Marriage, however they didn’t. Please do not delude yourself that the recent ruling is anything to do with equality or truly supporting our community, as the methodology is further evidence of governmental control attempts.
“Oh Xander but we now have full equality under the law”, I hear you say, but sadly we haven't and the cost of this empty gesture has far reaching consequences for us as a nation. If we analyze the rights afforded by Marriage and those of same sex Marriage, we will see they are anything but equal. Employment rights surely needed the most urgent attention as one can still be fired for being gay in some states.
Legalizing same-sex “marriage,” means The State can call upon public officials to preside over ceremonies, order public schools to teach its acceptability to children, and punish any state employee who expresses disapproval. One could maybe argue Judges and officials should perform these ceremonies as it is their job, but do we really want anybody to be forced to accept us?
Ministers of Religion could also be forced by Law to perform these ceremonies under penalty of prosecution, even if they do not accept the sanctity of the ceremony. If a heterosexual approaches a Minister of religion to request a Marriage Ceremony be performed and the individual does not attend the church or is not a member of that faith, the Minister may refuse. How is this Equality if people are forced to participate? This is called slavery and no one should be forced to perform a service if they choose not too in these United States.
Christians will now be expected to ignore their conscience and comply or face prosecution. Is this really what we want in order to access our rights and to obtain equality? Is this what I have spent the last 25 years campaigning for? I really think not. If obtaining our rights includes trampling all over the rights of others, what have we really achieved?
Before you say “Xander, it would never happen” I am here to tell you that it already did. Donald and Evelyn Knapp, ordained ministers who own the Hitching Post Wedding Chapel in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho were told they had to either perform same-sex weddings or face jail time and up to a $1,000 fine. Equality is not about my rights being more important than yours, it is about them being the same or that would be privilege. surely? Saying no should be a right for whatever reason, and being forced is slavery.
There is method in the madness here and this is clearly the Government using Same Sex Marriage as a tool of control. Churches that refuse comply as well as being open to prosecution will more than likely lose their Tax Exempt status . If like me you were wondering what the cost is for all of this , you now have the answer. When did our community become the aggressors? Did I miss that memo?
I have defended our rights to the hilt and whilst I will continue to do so, I am really left scratching my head. This really is equality at any price any price and the fact that most won't see that we have been used, is the saddest part of all . Whilst division is never totally unavoidable, this was clearly premeditated and I cannot support or celebrate slavery. We all deserve equality under the law, but forcing others to comply or celebrate it is not what I signed up for. We need to see beyond the veneer of gestures of this kind and hold on tight. This is a very slippery slope!
Are you here to be liked or to make a difference?
